Soror Cortney Rush honored as NPHC-C Soror of the Year

At the 2016 SansororofYearkofa Awards Scholarship Luncheon, Eta Xi Sigma’s very own Cortney Rush was honored as National Pan-Hellenic Council Soror of the Year.  This award is bestowed to a Sorority member who has exemplified dedication to progress and collaboration among the Chicago-area Divine Nine organizations. Her tireless work ethic, community service and dedication has contributed to successful social events and fundraising for NPHC-C’s scholarship efforts. We are very proud to have you as a member of our chapter and thank you for always Exceeding Expectations!

Iota Phi Sigma of Phi Beta Sigma Supports Youth Symposium

The Iota Phi Sigma Chapter, Oak Park, IL and young men of their Sigma Beta Club supported the ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. – Eta Xi Sigma Chapter, Oak Lawn, IL during their 19th Youth Symposium at Dunbar High School, Chicago, IL. The event focused on the importance of partnerships in the community coming together to support our youth. The symposium featured several informative workshops featuring a STEM Panel, Run Jump Throw that consists of information about track and field; Swim 1922, which includes swim safety, dating violence, and teen driving safety as well as other educational modules essential for a lifetime of personal and professional success.pbsYS1 pbsYS2 pbsYS3
